- Massachusetts Paralegal Association - Organized in 1975 to promote the development of the paralegal profession. The MPA has adopted the following purposes: to promote high professional and ethical standards in the education, training and employment of paralegals; to serve as a source of educational information for members, the legal community and the general public; to provide opportunities for the mutual association of paralegals and paralegal students to promote the general professional interest of paralegals.

- Western Massachusetts Paralegal Association, Inc. - Incorporated in 1990 by a group of dedicated professionals who wanted to further expand the paralegal profession in the Western Massachusetts area. Today, WMPA is a thriving non-profit organization that is composed of paralegals working in all areas of law in the Western Massachusetts area.
