- Jacob Edwards Library - The Jacob Edwards Library provides current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats for persons of all ages in the Southbridge Area. Special emphasis is placed on providing timely, accurate and useful information in pursuit of a library user's job-related, school-related or personal interest; and on stimulating young children's interests and appreciation for reading and learning.

- The Curtain Society - A three-piece band formed in December of 1988, the trio released a sizable number of cassette EPs and albums under Roger Lavallee's Apostrophe Records banner before signing on with Washington, D.C. based Bedazzled Records in 1993.
