- Catholic Encyclopedia - Bl. Thomas Ford, English priest, arrested with St. Edmund Campion, tortured, and executed "on an absurd charge of conspiracy at Rome and Reims, where he had never been, on dates when he was in England." He was martyred at Tyburn in 1582.
