- Boston Harbor Islands State Park - Natural resource reachable by ferry, with shell and slate beaches, meadows, historic structures, hiking paths, picnic and camping areas, birds, wildlife and views of the Boston skyline and Massachusetts Bay.

- Wompatuck State Park - 250 wooded campsites, 12 miles of bicycle trails and many miles of wooded bridle paths and hiking trails. Boat ramp provided, but no trailers are allowed.
