- Charco del Ingenio - Charco del Ingenio, a nature reserve on the edge of San Miguel de Allende, has hiking and mountain bike trails through a canyon and along a dam, plant nurseries, a botanical garden, remains of colonial aqueducts and buildings. Site has lots of photos and a map of the park.
