- Mathematics in Medicine - 2nd Mathematics in Medicine Study Group. This study group aims to find new ways of solving medical problems through the use of mathematical models. At the start of the week, clinicians and biomedical scientists will present five medical problems to the group. The mathematicians, will then spend the week with the scientists developing mathematical models of the problems. Solutions will be presented at the end of the week and written reports will be prepared after the meeting. University of Nottingham, UK; 10 -- 14 September 2001.
