  • Library Information Access System (LIAS) - A gateway to numerous information resources for Penn State, including the WebCat, indexes and abstracts, electronic journals, full-text databases, and reference shelves.   • Penn State Portal - Provides registered Penn State users with a personalized view of University and Internet resources. Allows users to collect favorite features and content in one Web location. To sign in, a Penn State access account and personal Web space account is required.

  • ResConnect (Ethernet Registration System) - Allows users to request changes to network connections in wired residence halls. Users can request new service, service to be moved, and disconnections; Ethernet card changes; and information inquiries. Restricted to registered Penn State users.

  • Search Engine - Allows general or specific searching of up to one-million sites indexed by the engine. Possible to restrict searches to particular groups of sites. Uses Lycos search engine for sites outside the Penn State network.
