  • Astrological Zodiac in the Script of Easter Island - To quote some of this short page: "Honolulu Tablet No. B. 3622 looks as follows ... the above tablet is an astrological zodiac, with the recognizable signs in the correct order ... Reading from right to left..." [end of quote] In fact this tablet, from the very crude style of its signs, is likely a 19th-century fake. Even if it is not, the signs, being right side up, are to be read from left to right, not right to left. Then the author interprets those hieroglyphs as the standard Western zodiacal signs, starting with Leo, ending with the word "zodiac" in Sumerian, for which he gives a Latvian etymology. A particularly fine exhibit for the Kooks Museum.
