- Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge - Located at Lake Arthur. Although established in 1937 to provide wintering habitat for waterfowl, Lacassine NWR now contains fully accessible fishing piers, an interpretive shelter and kiosk, parking lots, and boat launch at Lacassine Pool for the public use.
