When National Geographic Traveler came to Hawaii to
write a cover piece on "The Real
Maui" they chose marine biologist Ann
Fielding to guide them to the marine life most tourists
never see. Ann takes small groups of snorkelers to her favorite reefs
to share her extensive knowledge. Check out the November 1995 issue

- SNORKEL
MAUI: A
half-day shoreline snorkeling adventure in a small group. This is
a fun and easy way to learn about Hawaiian marine life first-hand.
Ages 7 and up and all experience levels welcome.
- ISLAND
EXPLORATIONS: Ann
also runs a scuba and snorkel travel company, Island Explorations
LLC. In 2008 there will be a mid-October dive trip to
New
Guinea, and a
December one to Indonesia (Raja Ampat). In 2009 there will be a
late-March dive trip to the Philippines and in Oct -Nov two trips
on the Spirit of
Solomons in the
Solomon
Islands, one for
snorkelers and one for divers. All are accompanied by Ann.
