About Us

The mission of the Arizona Tourism Alliance, working in partnership with various stakeholders across the state, is to increase awareness of tourism and strengthen Arizona's economy through tourism development and promotion. The Alliance will achieve this mission by:

• Educating elected officials, businesses, and the public about the importance of the economic opportunities and its benefits created by tourism on a local, regional and statewide basis
• Influencing government action related to tourism; advocating for tourism policy issues at the local, regional and state levels
• Facilitating partnerships between the various stakeholder organizations that benefit from tourist expenditures across the public, private, and social sectors of Arizona

The Alliance is not a traditional trade association. As an independent voice for Arizona tourism, the Alliance has the ability to partner with key membership organizations within Arizona related to: business, government and tourism. This ability to partner with organizations across the spectrum uniquely positions the Alliance to act as a catalyst to generate support and understanding of the positive economic impact tourism provides for all citizens of Arizona.
