Sustainable Materials
Private Island Furniture uses a high percentage of sustainable materials in all its products. Indonesian Oak, or Mindy wood, is sustainably-grown hardwood. Acacia wood used for our Deco line is plantation-grown and sustainably harvested. Bamboo, rattan, water hyacinth and other plant fibers are sustainably harvested and have WWF certification. We are working towards increasing our use of natural, recyclable, and sustainable materials for our cushion fill and upholstery.
