‘Obama-mania’
The election of Barack Obama as 44th President of the United States has electrified the world, signaling to millions of people across the globe that America is ready to reassume its leading role on the international stage.
There is great anticipation that the U.S. will engage in areas such as global warming, alternative energy creation, economic development, human rights promotion and work tirelessly to restore a reputation severely battered by reports of torture and a drawn-out occupation of Iraq.
