Kendal is one of the world's most prestigious mountain festivals, an internationally renowned event that attracts top adventurers, climbers, writers, film-makers and film premieres from around the world. Plus it's a huge tribal gathering - the major social event for outdoor enthusiasts in the UK.

This November's festival offers an unequalled range of films, art, debates and lectures from and for people passionate about the mountains. With specialist programmes for skiers and boarders, BASE and parapente, white water and bike, together with the unique Adventure Film Academy it's a simply unmissable event.

It has come to our attention that the West Coast Trainline is shut south of Birmingham on 22nd and 23rd November and replacement buses are on over the festival weekend. So we are suggesting Car Sharing, so why not save time, money and the planet on your way to Mountain Fun.

Visit www.nationalcarshare.co.uk
to register and find fellow festival goers who need a ride!

Or why not travel by train and stay all weekend! Arrive on the Friday and take the Monday off Work, this event only happens one weekend a year, so you may as well come and enjoy a weekend in the Lakes!!!
