- Amanita magnivelaris - image and discussion of this species (French). The Quebec collections of Yves Lamoureux are very interesting because some of them react positively (yellow on stipe) to KOH whereas this species in the eastern U.S. does not so react. The micromorphology of the reacting and nonreacting specimens are very similar.
